The Month of August is the celebration for our language, the Filipino Language. The theme for this celebration is, "Wika Natin ang Daan Matuwid." The Club officers conducted activities which serve as tool to encourage the students to use the Filipino language and to be proud of it. It is really important for us, Fiipinos to learn and give importance to our own language because it is our identity. Our language tied different regions in our country which have different language. It serves as an instrument to us, Filipinos to understand each other and avoid some troubles and misunderstandings.

When it comes to the English language, yes it is also important for the Filipinos to be able to communicate with it but, everyone who thinks of himself as Filipino has also the responsibility to love the country of his birth and naturally, his language. It is only the language that seem to be the remaining link of the Filipino spirit and his potential towards a lasting national identity.  So we must be proud of it!
